As a graduate teaching assistant in UNC Wilmington’s Publishing Laboratory, I am responsible for creating most of the Creative Writing Department’s promotional materials, as well as interior design spreads for the award-winning literary magazine Ecotone. Social Media

Here is an array of marketing posts I’ve designed for the UNCW Department of Creative Writing’s social media pages, particularly Instagram and Facebook. I designed many of them to be in a matching visual suite as their physical poster counterparts for the same events. The events featured here include readings with authors Carmen Maria Machado and Melissa Faliveno, a book launch for Might Could by Anna Lena Phillips Bell, and the 2025 first-year MFA reading.

Broadsides

A selection of broadsides I’ve designed to be printed and distributed at author events. The first features an excerpt from Gloria Muñoz’s novel This Is The Year, designed to resemble a spotlight onstage; I designed this for her reading and Q&A during the 2025 Wilmington Writers’ Week conference. The second features an excerpt from Erica Berry’s nonfiction book Wolfish: Wolf, Self, and The Stories We Tell About Fear; I designed it for her fall 2025 reading at UNCW.

Print Posters

These are posters I’ve designed for various UNCW Department of Creative Writing events, which were printed and displayed throughout Wilmington. They include readings with visiting authors Carmen Maria Machado and Melissa Faliveno, a book launch for Might Could by Anna Lena Phillips Bell, and the end-of-year MFA reading.
